We kept a lot of the original solid local wood features intact in this home after learning about its deep history as one of the first logging camp buildings in the Sierras. We added a bathroom and strengthened the foundations, but most of the transformation happened outside, where we leveled the yard, added an outdoor kitchen, kayak and ski storage, fences and a micro flower farm. We added quirky retro furnishings to bring cheer and whimsy to this two-bedroom, two-bathroom home that sits a 5 minute walk from the largest freshwater lake in the area.
